Gender equality is a precondition for reducing poverty and promoting sustainable
development. Women have made amazing strides but are still held back by social, economic,
and legal barriers.
The Anchor Point Foundation supports those organizations, both within the U.S. and
throughout the world, that bring women’s issues from the shadows into the light. We
advocate policies that empower women with education and opportunity as well as seek to
improve their overall health and well-being.
